Shabbat Services – September through June
WEEKLY EREV SHABBAT WORSHIP SERVICES are held Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Except the first Friday of every month.
FIRST FRIDAY YOUNG FAMILY SHABBAT SERVICE is from 5:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. The first Friday of every month (September through June) is a First Friday Young Family Shabbat Service. This service is meant for our youngest family members ages 9-8, but all are welcome. The service is lead by Rabbi Kalfus and Cantorial Soloist Kelly Onickel with lively music, playing of tambourines, marching with the Torah, and a story.
FIRST FRIDAY FAMILY SERVICE – begins at 6:45 p.m. – The first Friday of every month (September through June) is a First Friday Family Shabbat Service. This service is meant for families with children ages 9-12, though it has become a favorite for many adults. Our Temple Emanu-El Youth Choir, directed by Cantorial Soloist Kelly Onickel leads our Shabbat worship with Rabbi Kalfus.
SATURDAY MORNING TORAH STUDY – Torah Study is led by Rabbi Kalfus on Saturday mornings at 9:15 – 10:15 am in the foyer, from September to June. Study does not require a command of Hebrew or a particular level of existing knowledge of the Torah. Try it for one session and see how exciting, fun, provocative and profound Torah study at Temple Emanu-El can be.

Shabbat Services – July and August
EREV SHABBAT SUMMER SERVICES IN THE BIRNKRANT GARDEN – Friday night Erev Shabbat evening services in July and August are held outdoors (weather permitting). Every first Friday of the month at 6:45 p.m. and all subsequent Fridays at 7:00 p.m.
SHABBAT MORNING SERVICES – Saturday morning Shabbat services will be held at their regular time 10:30 a.m.
